The subject that unites all the episodes is the search, a quest that the two protagonists must do to bring to light important clues about the past of mankind, emerged after an exceptional archaeological discovery by an "unofficial" extra-governmental Organization (for which the two protagonists work).

The “setting” is the present. More than 12,000 years have passed from the last great glaciation; world powers are engaged in the search for new energy resources; humanitarian crises such as drought, famine, earthquakes, wars, floods and exceptional climatic events afflicting our planet.

 

All this happens under the almost total neglect of the one-third of world population living still immersed in the dream of well-being generated by the development statement of the last century.

Sometimes unaware of the great economic empires and powers of national or transnational, in these days there is who works for try one or more solutions to preserve a future for the human race. In one of these organizations(there are several, some in struggle between them)are working our two protagonists as agents operating undercover.

Officially, they are researchers and scholars of antiquity at a major university, so they can move easily between excavations, libraries, warehouses, government buildings and whatever else is needed, with the support of all the technology available to them through their agency.
